Exmoor

The Lodge at Myrtleberry is surrounded by National Trust land in an area of Special Scientific Interest. There are approximately 70 miles of footpaths leading from the doorstep, taking you through the variety of Exmoor’s landscape. It is also possible to explore on horseback or by bicycle.

Lynton & Lynmouth
The picturesque fishing village of Lynmouth, with its sister village of Lynton on the hill above, are no more than a mile and a half down river. Here there are a selection of shops, a cinema, pubs and eateries as well as the famous water-powered Victorian cliff railway.
The Valley of Rocks
The Valley of Rocks was formed by the original course of the East and West Lyn rivers before they broke through to the sea at Lynmouth.
